Caring for your Pearls

All of our pearls are cultured freshwater pearls. To make sure their luster remains intact, here are a few helpful tips for you!

• Show them some love! Pearls are grown in nature, and therefore benefit from being worn out and about. 
• Always put on your pearls right before leaving the house, after you apply your hairspray or perfume.
• When you're done wearing them, use a soft damp cloth to gently wipe them. This will remove any dirt, oils or perfumes they may have come into contact with.
• The best way to store them is in a soft pouch. Pearls are formed in water, and therefore need moisture. They tend to crack in dry environements, therefore storing them in airtight plastic bags might not be the best idea.
• Keep your pearls away from any harmful chemicals, including perfumes, hairsprays, household cleaners etc.
• Avoid cooking, exercising, bathing & swimming while wearing them.
